About
I'm a designer...
working in the Wakefield and Leeds area of West Yorkshire. I use the broad term of designer because I feel I have a broad spectrum of skills, I can produce stunning print work, as well as beautiful, easy to use websites and can even conjure up quirky illustrations.
I've been designing for more than 11 years primarily working with print and interface design, but over the last few years I have added web design to my skill set.
With my knowledge of user experiences and digital interface design I decided to start making funtional, fantastic looking websites and have been doing this for the last four years. Not only do all the sites I build look fantastic but user experience is at the forefront of my mind and I adhere to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
In addition to designing and building websites I have also acquired SEO knowledge and can work towards reaching first page Google rankings for your required search terms.
I'm passionate about what I do, I love being creative and I hope this comes through in all the work I do. Whether it's a logo, flyer, website or something else, I put the same passion into each and every project.

I also have vast experience with email advertising campaigns too, so if you need to get a funky email out to all your customers I can do that too.

SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
So you've got a great site, but no visitors! you need some SEO magic...
Search engine optimisation is the process or hiring an SEO company or professional to work on a website so that it achieves high rankings on a search engine.
Successful SEO companies use a combination of link building, on page configuration and good content. The benefits are increased website visibility on search engines, which leads to higher traffic, better brand awareness and ultimately greater success for your business. Successful SEO is achieved over a prolonged length of time and is not a quick fix solution.
I recommend a minimum of 6 months constant work on a website to produce lasting results. There are many SEO companies around that give SEO a bad name through either using unethical or "black hat" techniques to get their clients ranking on Google, and then subsequently getting them banned, or through taking money from their clients and not delivering results. It can be a bit of a minefield for businesses that are looking for the best SEO company for them and I completely sympathise with that.
